Blackheart Head

The Blackheart head is included with Moon Knight in the Marvel Legends Strange Tales Blackheart Build-A-Figure wave. It is the head piece needed to complete the Blackheart Build-A-Figure.

DESCRIPTION

This is a large monster-style head rather than a standard Marvel Legends alternate portrait. It has a black face, bright red eyes, and a heavy mass of long, rope-like black hair or tendrils hanging down around the face. The top of the sculpt has a ridged, swept-back look rather than a smooth finish.

The underside has a single neck socket for attaching it to the completed Blackheart body. It is noticeably larger than a normal 6-inch figure head, which makes it fairly easy to identify when loose.

COMMON ISSUES

The most common problem is the part being missing from loose Moon Knight listings, or swapped out when figures are resold incomplete. It can also be confused in job lots with other dark creature-style accessories if photos are poor.

Bootlegs are less common than with full figures, but collectors should still check paint quality, the shape of the eyes, and the neck connection point if something looks off.

Loose, this part usually sells for around $10 to $18, depending on condition and current availability.

It is not the hardest Blackheart part to track down on its own, but it is one of the most recognisable pieces, so clean loose examples can sell quickly.
