Blackheart Torso

The Blackheart torso is included with Bloodstorm in the Marvel Legends Strange Tales Blackheart Build-A-Figure wave. It is the main body piece needed to assemble the Blackheart Build-A-Figure.

DESCRIPTION

This part is a large monster-style torso designed for Blackheart’s oversized demonic build. It is moulded in a dark black or charcoal colour with a heavy, muscular chest and abdomen. The sculpt has a rough, organic texture rather than smooth costume detail, giving it a more creature-like appearance than a standard Marvel Legends body.

One of the easiest ways to identify it is the long tail attached at the back, which makes it much more distinctive than most BAF torso pieces. At the top is the neck socket for the head, with shoulder connection points on each side for the arms and hip connections at the bottom for the legs. Because it is the central body piece, it is larger and bulkier than any normal 6-inch figure torso.

COMMON ISSUES

The most common issue is incomplete loose listings where the torso is missing the tail or shown from poor angles. Collectors should also check the shoulder and hip connection points for stress marks or damage, especially on used parts.

Because it is such a distinctive piece, swaps are less common than with arms or legs, but it can still be mixed into job lots of dark monster-style parts if photos are unclear.

Loose, the Blackheart torso usually sells for around $15 to $25, depending on condition and availability.
