Marvel Legends Bloodstorm Figure Blackheart BAF Wave 2024

Bloodstorm is an alternate-universe version of Storm, combining her X-Men identity with vampiric traits from Marvel’s darker supernatural stories. That makes her a good fit for the Marvel Legends Strange Tales Blackheart Build-A-Figure wave, which leans into horror, occult and supernatural characters rather than a standard team-based line-up.
As a release, Bloodstorm stands out because she is both a character figure and an important BAF donor. For some collectors she is a niche comic pick, but for others she is mainly the figure needed to secure one of the key Blackheart parts.
SCULPT AND DESIGN
Bloodstorm uses a slim female Marvel Legends body style that suits the character’s lean, vampire-influenced look. The sculpt keeps things fairly clean and comic-based, with a fitted jacket, cropped top, jeans and heeled boots giving her a darker street-level appearance rather than a classic cape-heavy Storm design.

The portrait has a strong expression and the white hair helps the figure stand out visually in the wave. Paint application is fairly simple overall, relying on the contrast between the dark clothing and pale hair to sell the design. The articulation follows the usual modern Marvel Legends female layout, giving her enough movement for standard action and display poses, though the jacket and heeled stance naturally limit some range compared with more neutral buck bodies.
ACCESSORIES
- Alternate head
- Alternate hands
- Blackheart torso BAF part
COLLECTOR NOTES
- The Blackheart torso is the main thing to check when buying loose
- Alternate hands are easy to lose and are often the first accessories missing from incomplete listings
- White hair should be checked for paint rub or discolouration
- The BAF torso is bulky, so boxed examples sometimes show tray wear or movement inside the packaging
- Some collectors buy Bloodstorm only as a BAF donor, so loose figure-only listings are common
VALUE NOTES
Bloodstorm tends to sit in the middle ground as a collector purchase. Some buyers want her specifically as an unusual Marvel variant character, but a large part of demand comes from Blackheart builders who need the torso. Because of that, complete examples with the BAF part are usually more desirable than the figure on her own.
Loose figure-only copies are often aimed at character collectors, while complete boxed or complete loose examples appeal more to anyone working through the full Strange Tales Blackheart BAF checklist.
