Marvel Legends Damion Hellstrom Figure Blackheart BAF Wave 2024

Marvel legends Daimon Hellstorm figure

Daimon Hellstrom is one of the more direct supernatural fits in the Marvel Legends Strange Tales Blackheart Build-A-Figure wave. As Marvel’s Son of Satan, he belongs naturally in a line-up built around occult, horror and darker comic characters, and his inclusion helps give the wave a more cohesive supernatural identity.

For collectors, this release sits somewhere between a niche character pick and a practical BAF purchase. Hellstrom is not usually a mass-demand Marvel Legends name, but he is a strong thematic addition for supernatural displays and an essential figure for anyone completing Blackheart.

SCULPT AND DESIGN

Hellstrom uses a lean male Marvel Legends body with an upper torso design that reflects the character’s stripped-back supernatural comic look. The bare chest with pentagram detail gives the figure a very different appearance from the caped and armoured figures elsewhere in the wave, while the dark cropped trousers and gold wrist pieces keep the design visually simple.

The portrait has a clean comic-inspired style, with short red hair and a stern expression that suits the character. The trident is the visual centrepiece of the figure’s design and helps sell him immediately as Daimon Hellstrom rather than a generic mystical character. Articulation appears in line with standard modern Marvel Legends engineering, with good general movement in the arms and legs, though the bare torso design means the figure reads more as a posed comic display piece than a highly accessorised action figure.

Paint is fairly restrained, relying on the flesh tones, chest symbol, darker trousers and metallic gold details for contrast. It is a simpler figure visually than Dracula or Brother Voodoo, but still accurate to the character’s comic presentation.

ACCESSORIES

  • Trident
  • Alternate hands
  • Blackheart left leg

COLLECTOR NOTES

  • The Blackheart left leg is the main part to check when buying loose
  • The trident is long and can be bent or warped if stored badly
  • Alternate hands are easy to lose in incomplete listings
  • The chest symbol and facial paint are worth checking for factory slop or rub
  • Loose sellers may separate the BAF part from the figure, so confirm it is included if needed

VALUE NOTES

Daimon Hellstrom is usually bought for two reasons. Supernatural Marvel collectors will want him as a character that does not get frequent mainstream releases, while Blackheart builders need him for the left leg. That gives him a steady role in the wave even if he is not one of the bigger-name figures.

Complete examples with the BAF part are generally the most desirable, but loose figure-only copies still appeal to collectors building out Marvel’s darker comic corner. He also remains an essential part of the full Strange Tales Blackheart BAF checklist.
