Marvel Legends Marrow Figure Nemesis BAF Wave 2025

Marrow was released in 2025 as part of the Marvel Legends X-Men Nemesis Build-A-Figure wave. The character is known from late-1990s X-Men comics and the Generation X era, recognisable by her exposed bone growths and distinctive costume. This release represents her modern comic appearance and marks one of the few times the character has been produced in 6-inch scale.
The figure fills a long-requested slot for comic-focused collectors building expanded mutant rosters. Because Marrow has historically had limited action figure representation, the release appeals both to character completionists and to collectors assembling the Nemesis Build-A-Figure.
SCULPT AND DESIGN
The figure uses a smaller Marvel Legends female base body with extensive new sculpted overlay pieces to represent Marrow’s bone protrusions. The torso, shoulders and limbs feature layered organic textures rather than armour panels, accurately matching her comic design. Additional bone spikes attach to the back via peg ports, allowing display flexibility while preserving articulation.

Paint applications emphasise contrast between the green and blue costume and the pale bone growths. The portrait features the character’s short red hair and stern expression consistent with comic references. Articulation follows modern Marvel Legends standards including double elbows, double knees, rocker ankles and torso articulation, although large bone protrusions slightly restrict shoulder range.
ACCESSORIES
- Alternate hand
- Large bone blade weapons
- Nemesis Build-A-Figure left arm
COLLECTOR NOTES
The back bone spikes are small peg-in pieces and are commonly missing in loose listings. Repeated removal can loosen the peg holes over time. Pale bone plastic may discolour if exposed to sunlight for extended periods. Secondary market listings sometimes separate the BAF arm due to its size, so confirm inclusion when purchasing.
VALUE NOTES
Collectors typically acquire this figure for both the character and the Build-A-Figure component. Marrow’s limited representation increases character demand, while Nemesis builders require the included arm to complete the figure. Complete copies generally retain higher value than loose figures without the BAF piece.
