Marvel Legends Siryn X-Men Bonebreaker BAF Wave Guide

Siryn was released as part of the Marvel Legends X-Men Bonebreaker Build-A-Figure Wave in 2022. A long-running X-Men related character with strong ties to X-Force and X-Factor, Siryn finally got a modern Legends release in a costume that fits neatly alongside the mutant-heavy comic styling of the wave. For many collectors, this figure filled a fairly obvious gap on the shelf, especially for anyone building out 1990s and early 2000s mutant teams.
This release is also one of the key figures in the Bonebreaker wave because it comes packed with a major section of the Build-A-Figure.
SCULPT AND DESIGN
The Siryn figure uses a slim female Marvel Legends body with pinless arms and legs, giving it a cleaner and more modern look than older female bucks. The costume design is bright and very recognisable, with the yellow and dark green layout matching her comic appearance nicely. The wing-like underarm pieces do a lot of the visual work here and help the figure stand out in the wave.

The portrait has a calm, slightly stern expression, with long red hair sculpted to look like it is blowing outward, which adds a bit of movement to an otherwise fairly clean and simple release. Articulation is what you would expect from a modern Legends female figure, with good general posing range, though the wing sections naturally affect how freely the arms can be moved in some positions.
Paint is fairly straightforward but effective. The green and yellow suit is bold, the X-symbol is crisp, and the face printing is clean on good samples. As a shelf piece, it is one of those figures that looks better in hand than it might at first glance in promo shots.

COLLECTOR NOTES
The large wing sections are the most distinctive part of the figure, but they are also the area to check first when buying second-hand, as warped plastic or stress marks can hurt the overall presentation. Loose sellers also often split this figure from the BAF piece, so always check whether the left tread section is included before buying. The alternate hands are small and easy to lose, which makes complete loose examples a bit less common than they should be.
There is no major variant to worry about here, but condition matters, especially around the brighter yellow areas, where paint wear and discolouration show up more easily.
VALUE NOTES
Siryn sits in an interesting spot. Some collectors buy her because they genuinely want the character represented in an X-team display, while others mainly pick her up because the Bonebreaker piece is essential. That usually keeps demand fairly steady. Loose complete examples with the BAF part tend to be more desirable than the figure on its own, so for many buyers this is a figure with value both as a team builder gap-filler and as part of the wider Bonebreaker checklist.
For anyone completing the full Build-A-Figure, Siryn is one of the must-have entries in the X-Men Bonebreaker BAF Wave checklist alongside Havok, Vulcan, Maggott, Darwin, and Sabretooth.
