Marvel Legends Dracula Figure Blackheart BAF Wave 2024

Marvel’s Dracula is one of the stronger character fits in the Marvel Legends Strange Tales Blackheart Build-A-Figure wave. As Marvel’s version of the classic vampire lord, he suits the horror and supernatural theme of the assortment far better than a standard hero release would, and he helps give the wave a more focused comic-book monster feel.
For collectors, this figure works as both a character piece and an important Blackheart donor. Dracula has enough visual presence to stand on his own, but he is also one of the more important figures in the wave because he includes two separate Build-A-Figure components.
SCULPT AND DESIGN
Dracula uses a lean but imposing male body with sculpted armour-like costume detail, a flowing cape and a pale vampire portrait that fits the character well. The red and black colour scheme gives him a strong shelf presence, and the layered chest design helps separate him from a more standard suited body.

The figure’s head sculpts are one of the stronger visual points here. The neutral portrait gives him a composed comic-book vampire look, while the alternate screaming head adds a more aggressive display option. The torn cape and sharp-edged costume details also help push the horror styling further than a cleaner superhero release would.
Articulation appears in line with standard modern Marvel Legends engineering. The cape and overlay pieces may limit some deeper movement, but the body still offers enough range for standard posing. Paint is mostly straightforward, with the pale skin, red armour sections and dark cape doing most of the visual work.

COLLECTOR NOTES
- This figure includes two Blackheart parts, not one
- The left arm and left hand are the main things to check in loose listings
- The sword is a smaller extra that can easily go missing
- Cape edges should be checked for bends or warping in opened examples
- Pale head sculpts can show paint flaws more clearly than darker portraits
- Some loose listings may separate the BAF arm and hand, so check both are included
VALUE NOTES
Collectors will usually buy Dracula for both reasons. He has decent stand-alone appeal as a supernatural Marvel character, but he is also a key figure for anyone building Blackheart because he carries two required parts. That dual purpose keeps him more relevant than some figures that are bought mainly as BAF donors.
Complete examples are generally more desirable than figure-only copies, especially for collectors working through the full Strange Tales Blackheart BAF checklist. Loose Dracula figures without the Blackheart parts are still useful to character collectors, but they lose much of their appeal for builders.
