If you’ve been anywhere near my workspace lately, you’ll know I’ve been positively buzzing about the Fraggle Rock Wave 2 action figures from Boss Fight Studio. As a die-hard Fraggle fan and someone who might secretly have Doozer blueprints tucked away somewhere, I couldn’t be more excited about these beautifully crafted toys. Let’s dive into each figure from this stunning new wave, and while we’re at it, reminisce about the magical TV series that started it all.

Sprocket the Dog: The Ultimate Sidekick

Let’s start with the show-stealer: Sprocket the dog. This scruffy hero isn’t just the devoted companion to Doc; he’s also every Fraggle fan’s favourite furry detective. The figure captures Sprocket’s shaggy coat and inquisitive expression with amazing detail, right down to the texture of his fur. Boss Fight Studio has done an incredible job with his articulation, making him not just adorable but fully poseable for all your Fraggle scenarios. If you’re into display pieces that tell a story, Sprocket will melt your heart (and possibly investigate your snack cupboard).

If you’re into other quirky characters, don’t miss my thoughts on the Double Dragon figures—equally packed with personality!

Wembley Fraggle: The Lovable Dreamer

Next up is Wembley, the Fraggle whose indecisiveness is as endearing as his lime-green hue. His action figure includes a Banana Tree costume, a nod to one of the show’s classic episodes. The wide-eyed expression perfectly captures Wembley’s mix of curiosity and occasional panic, and the posable arms make him perfect for recreating his zaniest moments. Whether he’s drumming up a beat or teaming up with Gobo, this figure feels alive with energy.

Speaking of nostalgia, you might also enjoy my recent post on the delightful Strawberry Shortcake figures, perfect for collectors looking to expand their retro collections.

Mokey Fraggle: The Artistic Soul

The Mokey Fraggle figure feels like poetry in plastic form. Her serene expression and flowing purple hair bring her dreamy personality to life, and her accessory—a painting palette—speaks volumes about her creative spirit. Mokey always felt like the Fraggle Rock group’s anchor, and this figure pays her the ultimate tribute with a gentle, whimsical design that feels true to her essence.

Boober Fraggle: The Reluctant Hero

Ah, Boober, the Fraggle who worries so we don’t have to. His figure is packed with personality, from his perpetually anxious expression to his iconic scarf and cap. As a self-proclaimed laundry expert, Boober’s accessory—a pot of radish soup—made me laugh out loud. This figure is a delightful reminder of Boober’s cautious yet caring nature, and it’s easily one of my favourites.

Fraggle Rock TV Series: A Nostalgic Masterpiece

If you didn’t grow up watching Fraggle Rock, let me take a moment to apologise on behalf of your childhood. This series wasn’t just a show—it was a life philosophy wrapped in catchy songs and colourful characters. Created by Jim Henson, Fraggle Rock wasn’t afraid to dive into big ideas like community, friendship, and respecting the world around us.

Who could forget the boundless optimism of Gobo, the quirky brilliance of Red, or the wise advice from Marjory the Trash Heap? And let’s not overlook the Doozers, the industrious little builders whose work ethic put us all to shame. Every corner of Fraggle Rock was a treasure trove of creativity, and this new wave of Fraggle Rock toys brings that world back into our hands.

Why Fraggle Rock Wave 2 Action Figures Are Must-Haves

The attention to detail in these Boss Fight Studio Fraggle Rock figures is unmatched. Each one feels like a miniature love letter to the series, packed with accessories and expressions that capture the essence of these beloved characters. Plus, they pair beautifully with Wave 1, so if you’ve already started your collection, these are a natural next step.

If you’re as nostalgic as I am about the 80s (and perhaps have a shelf groaning under the weight of figures like these Double Dragon characters), these figures are a no-brainer. They’ll make you want to belt out “Dance Your Cares Away” while building an intricate Doozer diorama.
