Blanka (Player 2) Jada Toys Review

General Overview:

Jada Toys gives Blanka’s classic alternate costume a bold release with this player 2 version. Instead of the traditional green look, this figure swaps in a bright blue skin tone with vivid yellow hair and matching yellow shorts, giving it that unmistakable arcade-inspired alternate palette. It is a fun variation that feels instantly recognizable to Street Fighter fans while still keeping the same aggressive sculpt and larger-than-life presence as the standard release.

Accessories & Functionality:

This deluxe release includes an alternate head sculpt, extra hands, and an electric effect piece to help recreate Blanka’s signature attack display. The alternate portrait adds a more intense expression, while the hand options give collectors a little more flexibility when setting up action poses.

Articulation & Poseability:

Like the standard Blanka release, the player 2 figure features over 20 points of articulation in a large, muscular body. That gives it enough movement for fighting stances, lunging poses, and power-up displays,

Head Sculpt & Paint Application:

The standout feature here is the paintwork. The blue skin and bright yellow hair completely transform the figure’s look and make it feel like a true player 2 variant rather than a minor repaint. The chest hair detail, leg accents, and shorts all work nicely with the alternate palette, and the included second head keeps that wild, feral energy that makes Blanka such a memorable character.

Final Thoughts:

Blanka Player 2 is the kind of variant that should really appeal to fans of classic fighting game color swaps. It keeps everything that made the original Jada Toys Blanka release appealing, but adds a much louder, more collectible display presence through its arcade-inspired alternate colours.
