Ah, the Marvel Legends Man-Thing figure from the “Werewolf by Night” series—what a swampy beauty! Hasbro’s latest creation is a 6-inch action figure that captures the essence of Theodore “Ted” Sallis, our beloved Man-Thing. With a brand new torso, head, forearms, and shins, plus over 20 points of articulation, this figure is set to impress collectors. It also comes with two alternate hands, perfect for those dramatic poses we all love. Pre-orders are already live, and it’s priced at $39.99, available Fall 2024.

Why is Man-Thing called Ted

Now, why is Man-Thing called Ted, you ask? Theodore Sallis was a biochemist who, in a bid to recreate the Super Soldier Serum, ended up transforming into the monstrous Man-Thing. Ted’s tragic backstory is a fascinating blend of science and horror, making him a unique character in the Marvel Universe.

As for the “Werewolf by Night” TV special, it was a bit of a letdown for many fans. Expectations were high, but the execution left much to be desired, with a storyline that felt more flat than eerie.
