Strong Guy Torso

The Strong Guy torso Build-A-Figure part is included with the Sunspot figure from the 2020 Marvel Legends Wave 3 assortment and is required to assemble the Strong Guy Build-A-Figure.

This piece forms the central body of the completed Strong Guy figure. It is moulded primarily in dark blue with a bright yellow chest armour section permanently attached to the front. The armour features a raised red X emblem on the left side and small silver shoulder connection points. A neck ball peg sits at the top for the head attachment, while large sockets at the shoulders connect the arms. The lower section includes the hip joints for both legs. The exaggerated barrel chest and compact waist proportions make it immediately recognisable among Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure bodies.

COMMON ISSUES

The torso is sometimes confused with the separate jacket/back overlay piece, which attaches behind it. Loose listings occasionally show the two parts together and mislabel them as one component. Minor paint rub may appear on the red emblem. Bootlegs are rare but incomplete builds often lack the rear overlay rather than the torso itself.

VALUE

The torso is one of the more important Strong Guy components and is moderately harder to find than limbs. Loose examples typically fall in the mid price range and are worth obtaining early when assembling the figure, as many collectors keep it to display partial builds.
