Mortal Kombat Klassic Figure Scorpion

From the pre-order images, Scorpion looks to capture the Mortal Kombat II look with a bright yellow quilted tunic, black detailing, and masked head sculpt. He appears to include his trademark kunai and a branded display base. The promotional shots suggest he will have McFarlane’s standard 22 points of articulation, allowing for a good range of poses once in-hand.
Mortal Kombat Klassic Figure Sub Zero

Sub Zero’s pre-order photos show off a cleanly painted blue tunic and mask, with textured detail throughout. Accessories appear to include two alternate hands and a display base. Based on the product shots, the articulation layout matches Scorpion’s, hinting at strong posing potential.
Mortal Kombat Klassic Figure Liu Kang

Liu Kang’s classic arcade look, shirtless with red headband, black trousers, and wrist wraps, is faithfully recreated in the pre-order renders. He is shown with two alternate hands and a display base, packaged in Mortal Kombat Klassic-themed window box packaging. His proportions and stance look accurate to the source material.
Mortal Kombat Klassic Figure Kitana – GameStop Exclusive

Kitana’s pre-order images highlight her royal blue outfit and detailed mask. She includes one open fan and one closed fan, plus a display base. The photos suggest her skirt armour may limit extreme crouching poses, but the overall sculpt stays true to her early 90s design.
Mortal Kombat Klassic Figures Sub Zero vs Mileena Deluxe 2 Pack – Walmart Exclusive

The pre-order listing shows this set to be the most accessory-heavy of the wave. Alongside both figures, you get four alternate hands, two alternate heads, Sub Zero’s ice grenade, a spine rip fatality effect with head peg, Mileena’s twin sai, throwing-sai energy effects, two flight stands, and a fighting base with reversible backdrop. The promo shots make this look like the ultimate display option in the Klassic line so far.
Full Review of McFarlane Mortal Kombat Retro Figures

Based solely on pre-order images, wave one of McFarlane Mortal Kombat Klassic looks promising. The sculpt work appears crisp, with proportions and detailing that match the arcade source material. Paint apps in the renders are clean, and the bright colours capture the retro aesthetic well.

The articulation layouts in the promo shots indicate solid posing potential, and the accessory selection, especially in the deluxe 2 pack, seems generous. The exclusives provide incentive to shop across retailers, adding a bit of thrill for completists.

The only minor concern, judging from the images, is that certain costume elements such as Scorpion’s tunic or Kitana’s skirt armour may limit extreme stances. Even so, the overall presentation suggests a line that balances display value with playability.
If you’re into fighting game collectibles, the line could display well alongside other brawlers like the Jada Toys Dhalsim Ultra Street Fighter II exclusive or the Ultra Street Fighter II M. Bison deluxe player 2, creating a crossover arcade shelf.
Mortal Kombat 2 Movie
While this Klassic line arrives in stores, Mortal Kombat II will be hitting cinemas on 24 October 2025, including IMAX screenings. The sequel introduces Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, alongside Kitana, Jade, and Baraka, with more fatalities, intense fight choreography, and some unexpected character returns through NetherRealm magic. The buzz around the film should keep Mortal Kombat in the spotlight and may well boost interest in McFarlane Mortal Kombat collectibles.
