Bix Caleen (2023) Black Series Review
General Overview:
Bix Caleen, Andor’s fiercely loyal friend and mechanic, gets her own Black Series figure, and Hasbro has done a great job capturing her rugged, everyday hero aesthetic. The costume detailing is sharp, and her accessories add a bit of world-building to your Andor display.
Accessories & Functionality:
Bix comes with a datapad and a removable cartridge, which fit well in her hands. However, it would have been great to see some additional tools to really bring out her mechanic role.
Articulation & Poseability:
With 22 points of articulation, Bix is fairly easy to pose, though some of the joints—especially in the arms—can feel a little stiff. She stands well without assistance, making her a solid display piece.
Head Sculpt & Paint Application:
The head sculpt is one of the highlights of this figure, with a strong resemblance to Adria Arjona. The outfit’s paintwork is crisp, though a little extra weathering would have made it feel even more lived-in.
Final Thoughts:
Bix Caleen is an essential figure for Andor collectors, capturing one of the most grounded characters in the series. While she could have used a few more accessories, she’s still a great figure that adds depth to any Andor display.
