Cassian Andor (Aldhani Mission) (2023) Vintage Collection Review
General Overview:
Cassian Andor’s Aldhani Mission look is a great fit for The Vintage Collection, bringing us a figure that feels right at home next to classic *Star Wars* figures from the ‘70s and ‘80s. The sculpt is well done, and the removable hat gives you some display flexibility.
Accessories & Functionality:
While the removable hat and blaster are nice additions, it feels like Hasbro could have packed in a little more. A holster or a second weapon would have been ideal. Still, the blaster fits well in his hand, and the hat stays secure without looking awkward.
Articulation & Poseability:
With 18 points of articulation, this figure has solid poseability for its scale. He can hold his blaster in various ways, and the hat doesn’t interfere with his head movement.
Head Sculpt & Paint Application:
The head sculpt is decent, but the paint apps are a little basic. A bit of extra detail, particularly on the facial hair and eyes, would have made a big difference.
Packaging & Presentation:
For many collectors, the real star here is the Kenner-style cardback. The *Andor* branding looks great, and the overall presentation makes this feel like a classic *Star Wars* release.
Final Thoughts:
Cassian Andor (Aldhani Mission) is a strong addition to The Vintage Collection, offering a solid sculpt with a couple of nice accessories. While it could have used one or two more extras, the nostalgia factor and the figure’s overall quality make it a great pickup.
