Cassian Andor (2024) Black Series Review
General Overview:
This latest Cassian Andor figure brings a fresh look at the rebel spy, featuring a removable plastic jacket and two blasters. The sculpting is sharp, and while it doesn't reinvent the wheel, it adds some nice details that set it apart from previous versions.
Accessories & Functionality:
With two blasters and a removable jacket, this figure offers some customization for display. The weapons fit snugly in his hands, though a holster would have been a great addition.
Articulation & Poseability:
With 24 points of articulation, Cassian is easy to pose dynamically. The jacket does limit some arm movement, but overall, he balances well and can hold action-ready stances without issue.
Head Sculpt & Paint Application:
The digital face printing captures Diego Luna’s likeness well, but some figures have minor inconsistencies in paint application. A little extra weathering on the outfit would have given it a more lived-in look.
Final Thoughts:
If you’re a die-hard Andor fan or missed earlier releases, this Cassian figure is worth considering. While it doesn’t offer a huge upgrade over past versions, the extra accessories and removable jacket give it a bit more flexibility for collectors.
