Cassian Andor (2022) Vintage Collection Review
General Overview:
There’s something special about seeing Andor figures on that classic Kenner-style cardback. Hasbro brings Cassian into The Vintage Collection with a solid 3.75-inch sculpt, capturing his early-season look. The plastic jacket is a nice touch, though having the sleeves sculpted onto the arms feels a little outdated.
Accessories & Functionality:
Cassian comes with a blaster that fits well in his hand, and the removable plastic jacket adds a bit of display flexibility. However, a holster for the blaster would have been a great addition.
Articulation & Poseability:
With 18 points of articulation, this figure has decent movement for the scale. The sculpted jacket sleeves don’t hinder the arms too much, but a fabric coat would have allowed for better posing.
Head Sculpt & Paint Application:
The face sculpt is good for a figure this size, but the paint apps are a bit basic. Some extra shading or weathering would have made the figure feel more screen-accurate.
Packaging & Presentation:
For longtime collectors, the real highlight here is the packaging. The Kenner-style cardback with the Andor branding feels like a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern Star Wars storytelling.
Final Thoughts:
If you love that classic Star Wars figure feel, Cassian Andor is a great addition to your 3.75-inch collection. The sculpt and accessories are decent, but the packaging is what truly makes it shine. A little more articulation and improved paint apps would have made this figure a real standout.
