Cassian Andor (2023) Black Series Review
General Overview:
This Cassian Andor figure is a straight rerelease of the Hasbro Pulse Con 2022 exclusive, minus B2EMO. While it’s still a solid figure, there’s nothing particularly new here beyond the packaging. If you missed out on the earlier release, this is a second chance to grab it.
Accessories & Functionality:
Cassian comes with a blaster and his coat. The coat adds some display variety, though it would have been great to include another accessory to differentiate this release.
Articulation & Poseability:
With 24 points of articulation, the figure poses well, making it easy to create both relaxed and action stances. The coat does restrict some movement, but not significantly.
Head Sculpt & Paint Application:
The likeness to Diego Luna is good, though the digital face printing could be a bit sharper. The outfit paintwork is clean, but a little extra weathering would have improved it.
Final Thoughts:
If you already own the Hasbro Pulse Con version, this figure doesn’t offer much new. However, for those who missed out, it’s a solid release that still holds up well in the Black Series lineup.
