Clone Trooper (2023) Vintage Collection Review
General Overview:
There’s just something timeless about a good Clone Trooper figure, and this one brings Phase II armour into The Vintage Collection with style. While it's technically tied to Andor, this is a great army-builder that slots into any prequel or Imperial display just as easily.
Accessories & Functionality:
Hasbro packed in both a standard blaster and a larger rifle, giving you multiple display options. The removable helmet is a nice touch, though the head underneath is pretty basic—definitely not a standout feature.
Articulation & Poseability:
With 18 points of articulation, this figure moves well for its scale. Some joints may be a little stiff right out of the package, but once loosened up, posing is solid.
Head Sculpt & Paint Application:
The helmet sculpt is sharp, with clean paint lines and good proportions. The figure itself has decent paint apps, though some battle wear or dirt effects would have taken it up a notch.
Packaging & Presentation:
For many collectors, the real appeal is that classic Star Wars Kenner-style cardback. The Andor branding might feel a bit odd for a Clone Trooper, but it still looks fantastic on display.
Final Thoughts:
This Clone Trooper is a great addition for trooper builders and Vintage Collection enthusiasts alike. It’s a clean, well-executed release that stays true to the classic 3.75-inch figure aesthetic, but a little more detailing would have made it even better.
