I’ve been eagerly waiting for Jada Toys’ Ultra Street Fighter II Guile figure since the pre-order announcement dropped on September 19, 2024, and man, this figure looks like it could knock you out faster than Guile’s Sonic Boom! Retailing at $24.99/£24.99, this 6-inch action figure is packed with details, accessories, and iconic Street Fighter vibes, bringing the character to life straight from the arcade machine and onto our toy shelves.

Guile’s Signature Style Captured Perfectly

Jada Toys awesome Street Fighter line continues today with the drop of Ultra Street Fighter II Guile

The figure sports the classic flat-top hairstyle, military fatigues, and muscular build that fans have come to love about Guile since his debut in Street Fighter II. Jada Toys went all out with interchangeable hands (including one holding his famous comb), a Sonic Boom energy effect piece, and even an alternate head, allowing for multiple display options. Plus, it comes packaged in a retro-style window display box designed to look like an arcade cabinet, making it the perfect nostalgic piece for us collectors.

From the photos, the sculpting and attention to detail are impressive, especially for a 1/12th scale figure. It’s about 6 1/3 inches tall and the articulation looks like it’ll allow for some dynamic posing—so you can recreate your favourite Sonic Boom and Flash Kick moves right at home. Whether you’re a die-hard Street Fighter fan or just love great action figures, this one’s looking like a winner. The energy effect is the cherry on top for me, as it’s something we’ve seen done well with previous figures like Ken

The Latest Addition to Jada Toys’ Street Fighter Line

This Guile figure continues Jada’s winning streak of releasing affordable, high-quality figures. It follows hot on the heels of releases like the Cammy and Dee Jay figures, which were also excellent additions to the line-up. This is part of their third wave of Ultra Street Fighter II figures, which also includes characters like M. Bison. If you’ve been building your collection with these, Guile will fit right in.

Guile’s Backstory: A Fighter With Purpose

What makes Guile such an iconic character isn’t just his flashy moves or cool design, but his story. He’s a Major in the U.S. Air Force, seeking justice and revenge for the death of his close friend, Charlie Nash, at the hands of the nefarious Shadaloo organization. His motivations give him a unique depth as he fights not just for duty but personal honour. You can bet that this figure will make a great addition to your growing Street Fighter roster, especially if you love a character with both physical and emotional power behind him.

Adding Guile to My Collection

As someone who’s been collecting Jada’s Street Fighter figures for a while now, Guile is a no-brainer. From the incredible attention to detail to the nostalgia of the arcade box design, it hits all the right notes. Plus, the accessories are on point—especially the Sonic Boom effect. I’m counting the days until I can add him to my collection next to M. Bison (watch my unbox of the M. Bison figure here)!

With Guile’s history, move set, and now this amazing figure, I can’t wait to recreate some epic fights between him and my other Jada figures.
