K-2SO (2024) Black Series Review

General Overview:

The fan-favourite Imperial enforcer-turned-Rebel droid is back! Hasbro’s K-2SO (2024) Black Series release is a welcome return for those who missed out on previous versions. With its towering frame, detailed sculpt, and fantastic articulation, this is one of the best droid figures in the line. The paint applications are clean, but a little weathering would have pushed it to perfection.

Accessories & Functionality:

K-2SO comes with a single blaster—pretty standard, but given his Rogue One and Andor appearances, an alternate set of hands or some battle-worn details would have been great additions. Still, the included weapon fits well in his oversized hands.

Articulation & Poseability:

One of the biggest strengths of this figure is its articulation. With 24 points of movement—including individually jointed fingers—posing options are fantastic. He can be positioned in his signature stiff stance or placed in more dynamic action poses without much effort. The balance is also solid, which is impressive for such a tall, spindly droid.

Head Sculpt & Paint Application:

The sculpt work is spot on, with K-2SO’s signature skeletal frame and angular face fully realised. The paint apps are clean, with crisp Imperial insignias and subtle metallic detailing. However, a bit of battle damage or scuffing would have added even more realism.

Final Thoughts:

K-2SO is a must-have for Andor and *Rogue One fans. If you missed the original release, this version is an excellent second chance to grab one of the best droid figures in the Black Series. While an extra accessory or battle damage deco would have been nice, the articulation and sculpt alone make this an easy 9/10 figure.
