Hasbro has recently unveiled a new Marvel Legends two-pack featuring Lockjaw and Crystal, two iconic members of the Inhumans. If you’re a fan of Marvel’s more cosmic and royal side, this set will definitely grab your attention. As with other releases in this line, the figures boast impressive detailing, capturing the essence of these lesser-seen but beloved characters.
Marvel Legends Lockjaw Figure

Lockjaw is the standout in this two-pack. This hefty figure of the giant, teleporting bulldog is both adorable and intimidating. From the photos, it’s clear that Hasbro paid attention to the fine details—the signature tuning fork on his forehead, the texture of his fur, and his massive size compared to Crystal.
Marvel Legends Crystal Figure

Crystal doesn’t disappoint either. Her sculpt highlights her royal status and elemental powers. The figure is faithful to her comic book look, complete with her classic black and yellow costume. The articulation seems up to par with other Marvel Legends releases, allowing for dynamic poses that showcase her elemental abilities.
Packaging and Price

The packaging doesn’t follow the standard Marvel Legends design, with a non Windowed box displaying just the artwork. The set is currently available for pre-order, and while the price is slightly higher than other two-packs, it’s justified by Lockjaw’s size and the attention to detail.
Why This Set Stands Out

As a toy restorer and collector, I always appreciate when a company goes the extra mile to bring fan-favourite characters to life, especially those who don’t always get the spotlight. Lockjaw and Crystal are a fantastic addition to any Marvel Legends collection, especially if you’re building out the Inhumans or Avengers line up.
I love how Hasbro managed to capture Lockjaw’s bulk and Crystal’s grace in plastic form. The figures seem sturdy, which is always a concern with larger characters like Lockjaw. The paint job looks clean, and I’m particularly impressed by the way they’ve handled Lockjaw’s fur texture.
If you’ve recently picked up the Marvel Legends Bushwacker and Punisher 2-pack or the Avengers Infinity War 2-pack, this set will look fantastic displayed alongside them. Check out my thoughts on those sets here and here.
Crystal and Lockjaw: A Brief Comic Background
Before we go any further, let’s take a moment to dive into the comic origins of these characters.
Crystal: The Elemental Inhuman
Crystal, also known as Crystalia Amaquelin, is a member of the Inhuman Royal Family. She was first introduced in Fantastic Four #45 (1965). Crystal has the power to control the elements—fire, water, earth, and air—which she uses with remarkable precision. Over the years, Crystal has been a significant character in the Marvel Universe, not only as an Inhuman but also as a member of the Fantastic Four and the Avengers. Her romantic relationships, especially with the Human Torch and Quicksilver, have also made her a central figure in various Marvel storylines .
Lockjaw: The Loyal Teleporting Bulldog
Lockjaw, the gigantic bulldog with a teleportation ability, is one of the most unique characters in Marvel’s roster. Introduced alongside the Inhumans in Fantastic Four #45, Lockjaw is the loyal pet and protector of the Royal Family. Despite his appearance, Lockjaw is intelligent and possesses the ability to teleport himself and others across vast distances, even between dimensions. His character is often portrayed as gentle and loyal, which makes his new figure even more endearing .
