Marvel Legends Vision and Scarlet Witch Bring The Crossing to the Shelf

Some Marvel Legends releases give us the safest possible version of a character. This is not one of them.

The new Marvel Legends Vision and Scarlet Witch set reaches into Avengers: The Crossing, pulling out two costumes that even some regular comic readers may need a moment to place. That makes the pack more interesting than another standard red Vision or classic Wanda, but it also gives it a narrower audience.

Release Date: 23 September 2026 in the UK, approximately 1 October 2026 in the US
MSRP / Price: £54.99 / $55.99
Edition Size / Production Run: Not announced
Manufacturer / License: Hasbro / Marvel Comics

Two Designs That Refuse to Blend In

Vision is the first figure my eye goes to, mainly because his cape appears to have entered the room several seconds before he did.

His yellow and green colours are familiar, but the shape is much more extreme. The raised collar and huge sweeping cape give him a strong comic-book outline. He should look impressive standing behind a group of Avengers, though the cape may also take up a fair amount of cabinet space.

It could restrict some leg movement too. Vision may have fully poseable arms and legs underneath, but a large solid cape usually decides which stances are practical. The promo pictures show it working best in upright and flying poses rather than deep action positions.

Scarlet Witch has the busier costume. Her red and black outfit includes long boots, patterned sections and hanging fabric around the waist. The sculpted hair gives her a dramatic look without covering too much of the upper body.

Together, the avengers the crossing Vision Scarlet Witch figures look like they belong to the same moment in the comics. That sounds obvious, but two-packs do not always feel this well matched.

Scarlet Witch Gets the Better Extras

The box contains seven accessories. Both figures receive two alternate hands, while Wanda gets three pink hex magic effects.

Those effects are the most useful extras here. They wrap around her hands and arms, adding movement to poses that might otherwise look quite stiff. The bright translucent pink also works well against the darker parts of her costume.

Vision appears less well served. Extra hands are welcome, but there is no alternate head or smaller cape option. A second cape would probably have pushed the cost up, yet it would have made the figure easier to pose.

Collectors looking at the Marvel Legends Valentina and The Void set will recognise the same basic price problem. Two figures for around £55 is normal for the line now, but the accessories still need to make the box feel complete.

Why This Pair Matters to the Line

The Marvel Legends Vision Scarlet Witch 2 pack is not trying to replace the classic versions most collectors already know. Its real purpose is filling a gap.

The Crossing remains a very particular part of Avengers history. These costumes capture that period rather than smoothing it away in favour of more famous looks. For collectors building comic teams by era, that is exactly the appeal.

It is similar to the thinking behind unusual releases such as the Marvel Legends Spider-Man Noir Amazon exclusive. The design choice matters because it gives the figure a clear identity rather than repeating something already available.

The downside is that neither character works as the obvious first version to buy. Someone wanting one Vision and one Scarlet Witch for a general Marvel display may prefer their classic costumes. This vision and Scarlet Witch Marvel Legends set is aimed more at long-term collectors and Avengers completists.

Is the Two-Pack Worth £54.99?

The price feels reasonable for two newly presented comic figures, but not generous.

Wanda has the stronger accessory count and appears easier to pose. Vision has the larger visual impact, although that cape could become either the best part of the figure or its biggest nuisance.

The Marvel Legends Series Vision and Scarlet Witch Avengers The Crossing preorder makes most sense for collectors who already own the main versions and want something less common. It is harder to recommend as an entry point for either character.

We are also judging these from promotional images. The final paint finish, joint tightness and plastic quality cannot be confirmed until retail copies arrive. Scarlet Witch has several painted costume details that will need clean edges, while Vision’s bright colours could show marks quickly.

The Marvel Legends Series Vision and Scarlet Witch Avengers The Crossing release date is set for late September in the UK. My own view is that this is a good line-building pack with two properly distinctive designs, but the price and limited accessories stop it being an easy order for everyone.
