Some Batman figures arrive with a Batarang and leave the rest to your imagination. This one has turned up carrying enough equipment to fill half the Batcave.

The new McFarlane Batman Arkham Knight figure brings the game suit back into the DC Multiverse range. The main figure looks familiar, but the expanded equipment loadout gives this release a stronger reason to exist than a basic reissue.

The Accessories Are the Real Selling Point
The biggest attraction is not a new paint finish or an unmasked head. It is the pile of Batman gear packed around the figure.

The set includes several Batarang designs, a grapnel-style weapon, larger tech pieces, a small canister and the standard round base. A collectible card is also included. That is a much healthier selection than we often see with a standard DC Multiverse release.

It also gives collectors more ways to change the display. Batman can be posed with a simple Batarang for a clean game-inspired look, or loaded with heavier equipment for something closer to an in-game combat scene.
The lack of extra hands may still be noticed. Different gripping hands could have made the equipment easier to use naturally. The open right hand shown in the pictures may limit which accessories look convincing in certain poses.
A Strong Take on the Game Suit
The Arkham Knight costume remains one of Batman’s busiest designs. It mixes body armour, fabric textures, mechanical panels and a large gold utility belt. That can easily look messy in figure form, but McFarlane has kept the main shapes clear.

The broad chest and shoulders give the figure the powerful build seen in the game. Dark grey sections break up the black armour without making the suit look too colourful. The gold belt also provides useful contrast.

The head sculpt looks stern and recognisable, although the exposed lower face appears slightly plain beside the heavily detailed armour. That has been a common issue with several McFarlane Batman heads. From normal display distance, it should be less distracting.

Articulation Versus Armour
McFarlane lists up to 22 moving parts, covering the company’s usual neck, shoulders, elbows, torso, hips, knees and ankles.

That sounds good on paper, but this is a bulky Batman. The shoulder armour, thick chest and long cape may restrict some poses. Deep crouches and two-handed gadget poses could be harder than they look in the promotional shots.

The cape appears to be soft material rather than a wired design. It hangs well in the straight-on image, but it will not offer the wider, wind-swept poses possible with a bendable cape.
These are promotional images, so final joint tightness, paint matching and quality control cannot be judged yet.
Is the $26.99 Price Fair?
At $26.99, the DC Multiverse Arkham Knight Batman figure sits at the standard price for many McFarlane releases. The extra equipment helps soften that cost.

Collectors searching for the McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Batman Arkham Knight 7 inch action figure price should expect the US retail figure to remain around that level at launch. Listings for the McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Batman Arkham Knight 7 inch action figure for sale may vary once retailer stock and overseas prices appear.
This is unlikely to replace every older Arkham Batman on the shelf. It is better viewed as a more complete version for collectors who missed the earlier release or want a proper gadget display.
It also strengthens McFarlane’s video game selection, much as the colourful designs covered in our DC Super Friends Wave 4 breakdown help build a different corner of the wider Batman collection.
Final Thoughts
The Batman Arkham Knight 7 inch action figure wins mainly through its equipment. The sculpt still captures the armoured game design well, and the dark finish suits the character, but the accessories turn it into a more interesting package.

Collectors who already own the earlier version will need to decide whether the added gear is enough. Anyone missing this Batman, however, is getting a solid character design with far more display choice than the average release.
