This set includes the fan-favorite double-headed villain, Two Bad, who first debuted in the vintage MOTU line. The multipack offers two distinct versions of Two Bad, each featuring different color schemes and weapon accessories, allowing collectors to display both iterations of the character in all their glory. The set is meticulously detailed, capturing the essence of the original figures while adding modern articulation and accessories to enhance playability and display options. The packaging is also noteworthy, designed with a retro-inspired aesthetic that will delight long-time fans.

Two Bad’s Backstory: A Tale of Two Bounty Hunters

For those new to the Masters of the Universe lore, Two Bad started as two separate characters: Tuvar and Badra. Both were formidable bounty hunters with a mission to capture He-Man. However, their failure led to a grim fate at the hands of Skeletor. Using his dark magic, Skeletor fused them into one being, creating the two-headed monstrosity known as Two Bad. This creature brought a unique blend of chaos and utility to Skeletor’s ranks, as the dual heads often led to bickering but also provided a tactical advantage in battles.

My Take on the Masters of the Universe Origins Two Bad Multipack

After getting a glimpse of the official photos, I can’t help but be impressed by the Masters of the Universe Origins Two Bad Multipack. The detail on both figures is stunning, from the sculpting of the muscles to the intricate designs on their armor. The two different color schemes give collectors a choice between the classic blue and purple version and a more vibrant, modern look. The articulation seems top-notch, allowing for a wide range of poses, which is perfect for those epic battles on your shelf. The included weapons are also a nice touch, each fitting perfectly into the character’s hands.

I love how Mattel has managed to balance nostalgia with modern toy-making techniques. The packaging itself is a work of art, featuring retro graphics that hark back to the 80s while still feeling fresh and new. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into this set, making it a must-have for any MOTU fan.
