McFarlane Sinestro Green Lantern Corps and Plastic Man Figures Arrive in September

McFarlane’s DC Multiverse line is heading into two very different corners of the DC Universe this September. Sinestro joins the growing Green Lantern Corps display, while Plastic Man finally gets a figure that can actually show off why the character is so much fun.

Sinestro Makes the Green Lantern Corps Display More Interesting

The costume looks clean, with the familiar green, black and white doing most of the work. His narrow face and sharp features also suit Sinestro well. He comes with a Lantern battery, display base and collector card. That is not a huge accessory selection, especially at $26.99, but the battery is at least the obvious piece he needed.

Plastic Man Gets the Better Toy Box

You can keep him in a normal team pose or swap things around for something much more exaggerated. That suits the character far better than simply adding another pair of hands.

Plastic Man has been around since 1941 and has spent time with the Justice League as well as The Terrifics. His slightly ridiculous powers are a big part of his charm, and the extra parts give this release some of that personality.

Neither needs much hype to explain its purpose. One expands a team, while the other gives us a character who can finally look properly strange on the shelf.
