Shoretrooper (2022) Black Series Review
General Overview:
The Imperial Shoretroopers from Rogue One made their way into Andor, proving they weren’t just stationed on Scarif. This Black Series figure brings that rugged, battle-worn look to life with great detailing on the sculpt and weathering effects. If you’re building an Imperial army, this one’s a must.
Accessories & Functionality:
Shoretrooper comes with just one accessory—a blaster. While it’s nicely sculpted, a removable pauldron or alternate hands would have made this release even better.
Articulation & Poseability:
With 22 points of articulation, the figure can hit all the classic trooper stances. The armor design doesn’t restrict movement too much, allowing for some dynamic action poses.
Head Sculpt & Paint Application:
The helmet sculpt is sharp, and the weathering effects give it a battle-worn look. The paint apps are mostly clean, but some figures have been reported with minor inconsistencies.
Final Thoughts:
Shoretrooper is a great addition to any Andor or Rogue One display. The Target exclusivity made it a little harder to track down, but if you can get your hands on one, it’s worth it. More accessories would have been nice, but overall, this is a solid release.
