McFarlane’s Super Powers run is coming to an end, and Wave 16 makes some interesting choices for the goodbye.

Rather than filling the case with obvious DC heavy hitters, the McFarlane DC Super Powers final wave mixes classic heroes, a major villain, alternate looks and a metallic repaint. That makes it more interesting than a safe greatest-hits wave, although it also makes some missing characters much harder to ignore.

What Is in the DC Super Powers Final Wave?

If you are wondering what is in the DC Super Powers final wave, the case includes Martian Manhunter, The Flash in his Silver Age look, Wonder Girl, Deathstroke, JSA Superman and a metallic Cyborg.

They remain at the familiar 4.5-inch scale, with around five points of articulation. That limited movement is part of the Super Powers style rather than a surprise at this stage. These are simple retro figures built around character choice, colour and that classic carded presentation.

Collectors following McFarlane Toys DC Super Powers Wave 10 and DC Super Powers Wave 8 will already know how deep this line has managed to go.

Martian Manhunter

Martian Manhunter feels like one of the most sensible figures in the entire case.

J’onn is a major Justice League character, and his classic green, red and blue design suits the Super Powers format almost perfectly. It is colourful, simple and instantly recognisable.

For anyone building a classic Justice League group, this could be one of the most important McFarlane Super Powers final wave figures.

The Flash Silver Age

Barry Allen gets a straight classic treatment here, and that is probably the right call.

The bright red suit with gold details fits naturally beside the older-school DC characters already in the range. It may not be the wildest choice for a final wave, but visually it belongs in this line.

The promo images look clean, although final paint quality will need to be judged once figures are actually in hand.

Wonder Girl

Wonder Girl might be the figure that gives this wave the most personality.

Donna Troy adds another piece to the Teen Titans side of the collection rather than giving us another version of an already crowded character. Her red costume and star pattern also make her stand apart from most of the case.

For line builders, she feels less like filler and more like a missing piece finally arriving.

Deathstroke

Deathstroke gives the assortment a villain, which it badly needs.

His orange and blue colours are well suited to this retro format, and he brings something visually different beside the brighter heroic designs. With only basic articulation, nobody should expect complex sword-fighting poses here. That has never really been what Super Powers is about.

He is still a strong character choice for a closing assortment.

Cyborg Metallic

Metallic Cyborg is the biggest variant-style release in the case.

The silver finish should help the mechanical sections stand out, particularly beside the standard colours elsewhere in the line. Whether that is enough to tempt collectors who already own Cyborg will come down to how much they like alternate finishes.

It is probably the easiest figure here to skip if you only want unique characters.

Is This a Good Final Wave?

At $80 for six figures, the case works out at roughly $13.33 each before shipping and tax. For a retro-styled licensed figure in 2026, that is not unreasonable.

The bigger question is the line-up.

There are good choices here. Wonder Girl expands the Titans. Martian Manhunter strengthens the Justice League. Deathstroke adds a proper villain. Silver Age Flash looks right at home.

JSA Superman and Metallic Cyborg are more likely to divide collectors, especially now we know no later wave is coming to fill the remaining gaps.

That gives the DC Super Powers final wave from McFarlane a slightly strange feeling. It is a colourful and genuinely varied last case, but not quite the definitive closing chapter I would have picked.

I still think Wonder Girl and Martian Manhunter make this wave worth paying attention to. They are exactly the sort of characters that made this revived Super Powers line fun to collect in the first place.
