Ah, gather ’round folks, as I take you back to the wild, wild west—well, the animated kind, anyway! We’re saddling up with the latest from The Nacelle Company: a rootin’-tootin’ lineup of action figures from the nostalgic ’90s series, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa. Hold onto your hats because these aren’t just any old figures; they’re a blast from the past with a modern twist!

Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa aired back in the early ’90s as part of ABC’s Saturday morning lineup. Created by Ryan Brown, who had a hand in the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this series gave us a quirky blend of western antics and bovine bravery. The show featured a group of anthropomorphic cowboys who were, you guessed it, cows! They fought to maintain justice in a frontier setting where the rules were as wild as the scenery.

Saddle Up for Nostalgia

Fast forward to today, and The Nacelle Company is stirring up the toy community with their announcement of these iconic figures, ready to lasso their way into our collections. Fans can expect meticulously detailed figures that capture the unique charm of the original characters. These figures are set to gallop off the shelves starting April 23 with pre-orders.

What makes this lineup so exciting? It’s a delightful mix of nostalgia and craftsmanship. Each figure is crafted with attention to detail that would make any collector’s heart skip a beat. They embody the spirit and humor of Moo Mesa, with accessories and articulations that allow for dynamic displays.

Personally, I can’t wait to see how they stack up against some other recent figures I’ve reviewed, like the Hasbro Star Wars Prequel Black Series or the giants from the Quarter Scale Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It’s like comparing apples and oranges, or in this case, cows and turtles!

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, whispers of a potential reboot by The Nacelle Company add an extra layer of excitement. As a fan of both the original and anything that breathes new life into classic series, I’m all ears and hooves for this one!

Before you mosey on out, let me round this up with a nod to some of my other favorite figures from the ’70s in my post on the Top 10 Best 1970s Action Figures. From spacefarers to cowboys, it seems my collection is getting more eclectic by the day!
